Philosophy is the study of the nature and essence of reality in conceptual form. To think critically is to use logic to investigate the assumptions and context of an argument or belief. A good philosopher questions what most fear to question, which is usually where our answers lie! Philosophy came to me as an answer itself while I was trying to choose a major in college. After investigating the limited offerings at the university in my hometown and taking general education courses there, nothing sufficed. Each subject seemed too specialized and therefore limiting to certain, mundane career paths. Having grown up with many talents and areas of interest, I knew that my core specialization was actually to generalize – to master the universal principles of existence itself! I left my firefighting job and attended the most nearby philosophy BA program that my budget would allow (University of New Orleans), minoring in psychology and geography. After graduating in 2014 and finding success in several industries, I advanced my education to a Master of Research degree at the University of Buckingham in the UK under the direction of one of the greatest philosophers of the last century. I now teach philosophy part-time at a college in Arizona and at an online high school based in China, along with courses in psychology and public speaking. I have also made it my job to give you a clear and simple foundation of values, based on the principles of philosophy – crucial to the integrity of every worthwhile endeavor.

Personality is the perfect complement to philosophy and, as far as I can tell, a necessary one. While philosophy deals with the nature of reality on the whole, there are also differences between each individual person in the way they perceive, think, behave, and find purpose in life. As an underachieving “gifted” kid, obviously there was something different about me.  This led me over time to qualitatively explore many systems which account for this subject in ways that pure genetics simply cannot. Whatever its origins, personality is the innate coding of your soul’s psychology, often buried underneath layers of conditioning. It is your own personal foundation on which you can build something meaningful… when in coherence with divine law, of course! The particular systems of my expertise are Jung types (good for business and introductory understanding to personality), Big-5 (common in academic research), and natal chart astrology (an ancient technique for measuring time). As an independent student and practitioner of these systems for almost two decades, is my job to consult, giving you a comprehensive understanding of your unique coding so that you can continue your life’s journey in an authentic and fulfilling way.

Music has been the central endeavor for my creative mind for as long as I can remember. Having grown up in the 90s, I was writing song lyrics as early as age 8, and I knew long before then that I was a natural drummer. My parents attempted to divert my interest to other instruments, as drums are no parent’s first choice. First came an acoustic guitar from a JC Penny magazine that I never touched, and then came my dad’s saxophone with which I earned first chair in middle school band but soon dropped to run track. Drums remained the only focus, and it wasn’t until age 13 that I convinced my parents to use all of the money that I had to pay halfway for a drum set, which I still have to this day in addition to two others. Music is the highest art form. There is no other which demonstrates the complexity of the human experience in connection with the divine like music does. It can evoke images, enhance experiences, and inspire transformation across time. Drums and percussion are the foundation of most musical compositions across genres. As a seasoned drummer of over two decades, it is my job to provide that foundation for you, live or in the studio.
