Summary

Since age 13, Britton has been a versatile and energetic drum set artist who has a knack for structural composition as well as improvisational jamming. He sees music as a language unto itself whereby band members must merge in their fluency for ultimate success. He is rock-solid in the studio, and his live performances always impress. He is consistently praised for his powerful and creative style which tastefully serves the music above all. He is mostly self-taught but has taken advantage of various online tools to improve his technique, most notably Dave Elitch’s course entitled “Getting Out of Your Own Way”. After an extended break from music, Britton’s pro-level talent, work ethic, and personality has reemerged in northern Arizona with multiple promising projects, and he isn’t slowing down anytime soon!

EXPERIENCE

Drummer/Composer August 2007 – Present

Guns of the Seneca (Louisiana, USA) Experimental/Progressive/Psychedelic

  • Composed and performed track “Largo Parenchyma” from album Citizens of the Universe which won “Wigwam Online Radio Single of 2017” out of 40k submissions
  • Numerous performances and tours in US and UK
  • Currently near completion of 2nd full-length album
  • Otherwise on hiatus due to bandmates’ life commitments

Drummer/Composer October 2024 – Present

Futurist (Flagstaff, Arizona, USA) Indie Pop/Rock

  • Currently touring and collaborating on their 4th full-length album

Drummer March 2025 – Present

The Metropolis Man (Verde Valley/Phoenix, Arizona, USA) Blues/Funk/Classic Rock

  • Primary drummer for TMM’s quartet outfit, touring all over the southwest and beyond

Drummer Sept 2017 – July 2018

Lull (London, UK) Shoegaze/Indie/Grunge

  • Replaced original drummer for final dates of Lull’s tenure
  • Received acclaim for elevating their live performances

Painting the Seconds (Louisiana, USA) Punk/Progressive/Screamo

  • Regular gigs across the South
  • Shortlisted as one of best upcoming New Orleans artists of 2008
  • Winner of multiple “Rock Summit” BoB competitions
  • On hiatus due to the passing of a band member
